How the NCX Concepts process works
NCX Concepts moves a part through seven steps: quote, print/DFM review, process planning and programming, machining, engraving and fabrication, documented inspection, and delivery. Keeping every step in one shop removes the handoffs between vendors that usually cause delays and fit-up problems.
Step by step
The seven steps

Inquiry & quote
You send a drawing or 3D model with quantity, material, and any tolerance, finish, or inspection requirements. We review it and return a quote and lead time. Confidential and ITAR-aware from the first email.
- 02
Print review & DFM
Before cutting, we review your part with you for manufacturability, over-tight tolerances, hard-to-reach features, and cost drivers. When useful, we propose changes that preserve function while reducing cost and lead time. Your design stays yours.
- 03
Process planning & programming
We plan fixturing and setups, then build and verify CAM toolpaths. Multi-axis strategy is matched to the geometry so the part is held accurately in as few setups as possible.

Machining
Milling, turning, and 3, 4, or 5-axis machining produce the part to print. Tooling, speeds, and feeds are selected for the material and finish your drawing calls out.

Engraving, marking & fabrication
As the job requires, we add laser engraving and part marking, and integrate fabrication and welding for assemblies, all under one roof, so machined and fabricated features come together as one job.
- 06
Inspection & traceability
In-process and final inspection verify the part against the drawing, with documented results. First-article inspection (FAI) and material traceability are available on controlled work.

Delivery
Parts ship with the documentation the job calls for. Recurring production runs are planned to hold both schedule and tolerance across lots.
