01 / Who we are
What is NCX Concepts?
NCX Concepts is a precision CNC machine shop based in Charlotte, North Carolina. It serves aerospace, defense, government, industrial, and OEM clients with multi-axis CNC machining, laser engraving, fabrication, and welding, backed by in-process inspection and traceability.
Most parts pass through more than one shop on their way to production. We keep machining, marking, and fabrication under one roof, and we work closely with your team on manufacturability before cutting, so the handoffs that usually cause delays and fit-up problems simply don't happen.
- From print to production, in one shop
- Aerospace, defense, government, industrial, and OEM focus
- Tight-tolerance multi-axis machining
- Confidential, ITAR-aware handling
- In-process inspection and traceability

What Is 5-Axis CNC Machining?
Five-axis machining lets the cutting tool approach a part from five directions, producing complex geometry in fewer setups. Here's how it works and when it's worth it.

Not every part needs five axes. This comparison breaks down setups, accuracy, cost, and geometry so you can match the machine to the job.
